Word Search: Large Print Daily (in Italian: Parole intrecciate) — iOS and Android app

Effective date: 5 October 2026

1. Who we are

The app is published by Frisble (VAT IT05384660261, Italy), which is the data controller for the processing described here. You can contact us at any time at support@frisble.com.

2. Summary

  • There is no account and no login. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • Your game progress, coins, settings and reminders are stored only on your device. We have no server that receives them.
  • The app is free and shows ads. Ads, analytics, crash reports and purchases are handled by the third-party services listed below.
  • In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalised ads and analytics only run if you give your consent, and you can change your choice at any time.

3. Third-party services and the data they process

Service Purpose Data processed
Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) Showing ads, measuring them, preventing ad fraud, collecting and storing your consent choices Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking; Android advertising ID or app set ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions, device and diagnostic information
Google Firebase Analytics Understanding how the app is used so we can improve it App usage events and an app-instance ID. The advertising ID is not collected. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics only runs with your consent
Google Firebase Crashlytics Finding and fixing crashes Crash reports, device model, operating system version, app state at the time of the crash, a Crashlytics installation ID
Google Firebase Remote Config Adjusting app settings (for example ad frequency) without an app update A Firebase installation ID
RevenueCat Processing and restoring in-app purchases Purchase history linked to an anonymous ID generated by the app
Apple App Store / Google Play Payments and refunds Handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We never see your payment details

On iOS, the app asks for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency) only after the consent form. If you say no, AdMob does not receive the advertising ID and shows non-personalised ads.

The privacy policies of these providers:

None of this data is linked to your identity, because the app has no account and does not know who you are.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): personalised ads and analytics in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing and restoring in-app purchases.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): crash reports, keeping the app working, non-personalised ads and preventing ad fraud.

5. Your choices

  • Privacy options: in the app, open Settings › Ads & privacy › Privacy options to reopen the consent form and change your choices at any time.
  • Tracking on iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Advertising ID on Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads (or Google › Ads), where you can reset or delete it.
  • Daily reminder: you can turn it off in the app's Settings or in your phone's notification settings. Reminders are scheduled on the device.
  • Remove Ads: a one-time purchase turns off banners and between-puzzle ads.

6. Retention

  • Data on your device stays there until you uninstall the app (device backups may keep a copy).
  • Firebase Analytics: kept for the retention period set in our Firebase project (maximum 14 months).
  • Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports are kept for 90 days.
  • RevenueCat: purchase records are kept for as long as they are needed to restore your purchases and to meet legal accounting obligations.
  • AdMob: retained by Google according to its own policies.

7. International transfers

Google and RevenueCat may process data in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Children

The app is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app and data has been collected, write to us and we will help.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing done before). Because the app has no account, we usually cannot link data held by the services above to you. Write to support@frisble.com and we will do our best to help, including forwarding your request to the relevant provider.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

10. Reporting an ad

If you see an inappropriate ad, open Settings › Ads & privacy › Report an ad. This opens an email to us in your mail app. Describe the ad and, if you can, attach a screenshot. The email is sent by you, from your own email account, and we use it only to handle your report.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the app or the services it uses change. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top.
